'Sos' in English

Two men from Japan are hiking Mount ashadeke. They don't come back and authorities send out rescue helicopters to find them. From the air, rescuers spot a huge sign on the slope of the mountain that clearly spells out s o s in english. The appears to have been made from huge logs.
