The Orks Are Not Human, You Know?

The orks are in this uncomfortable middle position where they are sort of human, but the the they're not treated with the fairness that we would hope should be afforded to all sentient creatures. And it's, i guess, that's the ambiguity of it that makes it difficult. But yet, it is true. I mean, like it much fantasy and epic writing is this way. It doesn't seem to be nearly as as clear cut a situation as we have, say, with hp. Lovecraft.
