In the chronicles of narnia, the jesus figure is portrayed as being good, but not safeeio. Thereis the tenderness, the kindness, but there's also the severity and harshnessif that is needed. And so in the same way, we ought to recognize that if we give evil gifts to our children, much more will our heavenly father give us good ones. We can entrust some of those muddles and questions about god to be confident that if God is willing to go these lengths to rescue us, we can just trust him too.
