The USCCB NCBC Statement on Partially Brain Death

John Paul II said whole brain death was in line with sound onthropology, but only if it were complete in irreversible loss of brain functions. Other groups such as the right for life groups were opposed to this change. The Texas Hospital Association specifically said that patients should decide whether or not brain death is an acceptable standard.
