Larry Reed is a character who attracts a tremendous amount of attention among people in informatics and certainly among many folks in internal medicine. The criticism that he mounts against the current system of his day, I think is a really important one. He takes aim squarely at the so-called source based patient record. We're definitely going to get back to this subject, what the actual cognitive work of an internist is.
