You're singing lyrics that maybe aren't necessarily what you would think they mean literally, he says. Billy Joel's song "Only the good die young" seems to be kind of an intense song lyrically and Paul Simon doesn't like it when people sing sad songs in his studio. He also talks about how Bob Marley was always tremendous at sneaking veggies into his rhinoplasty.
