The Future of Web APIs

There's a couple different implementations out there for Wasm that are detached from the browser, right? Yeah. There's also an interesting direction here, which hasn't been that fully explored just yet because before Wasm GC, it wasn't easy to write user facing apps in C++ anymore. So you could start seeing Wasm plus web APIs being packaged up as a native app through technology like Electron. And then running at a rate that's indistinguishable on a desktop compared to native desktop applications on that platform.
