Is There an Absolute Reference or Definition for the Earth?

If you're a Taoist, the only way that something makes sense is by its contrast with other things. We have these weird, every little thing reflects everything else to just say, well, what I mean by earth is just this thing. And we can all talk about this thing, but there's no absolute reference or definition for the earth or something. The idealists are trying to solve that problem.
