Berlin, the Land of Brandenburg, and the Enlightenment
Napoleon was there very briefly and in 1806 he captured Berlin having destroyed the Prussian army at Jena and Arsted. His effect on Berlin was not that huge. Still it was the reactionary, Holens Oloran, who had in the end ruled Berlin for what was it? 500 years or 600 years. It's because of them much of the Enlightenment, past Prussia by, and also in Berliners, in Prussian certainly in that time,. There was this continued obedience that we have to follow our very strong rulers.
