The Optimism of Liverpool's Season
The margins are smaller than people give a credit for I don't think Liverpool would have won the league by any stretch of the imagination or even challenged for it if Henderson shot last minute against Fulham had hit the underside of the bar and gone over the line. The optimism that he had around that I think ebbed away and in the long term was possibly to Harvey's detriment but hopefully not in his career. There's still odd splashes in there that mad game irrational where again optimism is the problem they concede the goal just before half time because they've decided they're definitely gonna score one. They play like absolute misery gutters when there was a game there to be won two games
