The Rise and Fall of Georges Sond

She wrote a first novel called Indiana at the end of 1831. That was published in May of 1832 under her new pen name, which was Georges Sond. Eventually, she grew tired of Jules Sando and broke off their relationship. She became something of an overnight celebrity following Indiana's publication.
