The Benefits of Lambda for Web Applications
Snap Start is available for Java 11 and future versions of the language. It lets you run your own code just before and after a snapshot has been taken. But there are some downsides to storing ephemeral data, such as an incorrect database password. Mark O'Brien: I think this is going to be pretty widely used by people building web apps in Java.
