What Is the Purpose of the Heart?

Heart muscle is branched, so like a tree, like a tree branch. It's connected to other cells, other branches, through other branhes. And they're held together by connections called intercolated disks. This doesn't just hold it together, but allows communication between one cell and another wich is very important for the heart.
