"I do think there's a legitimate threat to free will from the, you know, literature and social psychology and psychology in general that shows that we can actually be bypassed," he says. "So what if I like Nutella because when I was five, there was a commercial with a cute girl? Is that really that different?" He then goes on to explain why some people are more likely than others to reject their own intentions as being beyond their control.
