I think that athletes who never just play their sport and have naturally good ability with their glutes and delayed knee extension probably don't. It doesn't mess with them. But people who have been coached into a certain type of running their whole life can do both. I remember, yeah, it derriene had us to do a 400 squatty run finisher at the end of one workout. My glutes were like, that was the most serious glute pump I've ever had. Like more than anything I've done in the way.
