The Power of Storytelling in Stand Up
I don't know if I have that brain. My brain mainly thinks in stories. A lot of comedy is like, I know what to do here. Here's what they should do. And I never think I know. So most of my material is always like the fact that I don't know. If your stand up is from funny things happening in your life, well, if funny things aren't happening to you, it gets harder to write jokes. Oh, yeah. Well, if you're not out living your life, that bird taught me that early on.
