The Supreme Court's Decision to Ban Affirmative Action in Higher Education
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favor of a ban on affirmative action for college admissions. John Sutter: The ruling closes off pretty much every meaningful method of taking race into account in the admissions process. He says students of color are consistently underrepresented in schools and states that have already banned affirmative action. "That's going to happen everywhere now," Sutter says.
