Building Common Sensitivity in an Artificial System
The challenge starts with the fact that common sense is not one thing, just like intelligence. The first question is how do you even represent it? How do you program it into the machine? Deep learning at Achilles' Hill doesn't really have a way of directly incorporating explicit knowledge. We would like to find ways of programming in the uncertainty that we have around the things that we know.
