The Role of Rhetorical Entanglement in Arguments
Normative entanglement is a rhetorical strategy that sometimes occurs in arguments typically used by moral realists where they'll say something like do you think torturing babies for fun is wrong? If an anti-realist says yes then the realist will interpret that as them conceding to the realist. It's kind of like a trick question it's almost like a double barreled question or your concealing one question inside of another and I think that moral realist should stop doing this. Very sneaky.
