Interventions and Prevention for Kids With Anxiety Disorders
I want to talk about the space intervention it's such a wonderful intervention and it's been developed for kids with anxiety disorders. There was a great study by Jamison and colleagues out of Harvard where they brought socially anxious people into the lab and had them give a public speech without preparation in front of a panel of judges. According to science your body preparing to perform at its peak is not you getting ready to fall apart that's not you ready to go into a panic attack.
