Fish Farms - Is That a Good Idea?
Fishing is a counter example of where you actually need government intervention to prevent the scarcity. In my first book, we certainly talked aboutt a lot about aquiculture as a solution to the problem of over fishing ot wild fish. I'm afraid of regulation which prevents innovation. It's just that the regulatory process can get, and often is being captured by special interest they don't want to innovate because they te're deriving rents from whatever the current arrangement are.
