Major league baseball and the players association reached a new collective bargaining agreement this past week ending the league's 99 day lockout. The season was supposed to start march 30 first, but now it will open on April 7th. pedro: I think what happened is a product of two things. For one thtwo sides were inching closer as as this week neared. And so they salvaged really, you know, a pretty good situation out of what looked like a pretty bad one.
