The Genetics of Cervical Dystonia
The number of things that can be inheritable in terms of dystonia, I mean, it can really run the gamut of autosomal dominant, recessive, excellent, and even mitochondrial is that about right? Yes. The people with test-specific dystonias or idiopathic dystonias probably of some kind of genetic predisposition or predelection to getting dystonia. And sometimes we do see a dystonic and often career-form abnormal movement disorder in these patients.
