"We're infilling in this little woodblock along this little cleared path, and you can hear them popping off multiple every minute. There's all these PFM's everywhere," he says. "So, we're waiting at the pickup point, and we must have been spotted by a drone." The U.S. team then started getting bracketed by 60 millimeter mortars - which is unusual for Ukraine or Russia.
