The Politics of Political Underrepresentation

I'm really interested in how you draw the line, what makes a relevant criterion. I certainly think that a decision-making assembly which turned out to be 100% heterosexual raises significant problems of political underrepresentation. There's an anxiety that many people have about the idea of a slippery slope. It seems as though there's no stopping place. You're always going to come up with some further group.
