The Relationship of the Son to the Father

The Logos has always been greater than the angels not just after making satisfaction for sin. Christ sitting at the right hand of the Majesty on high in the last phrase of verse 3 indicates again his equality with God seatedNot commanded to sit at God's right hand that is in the very highest place of equal dignity with the Father. Finally on verse 4 Chrysostom takes the phrase having become so much better to refer to Christ's incarnate state and points out that his status as son is not the result of a becoming but of generation.
