Tucker McCarlson: The choice isn't to have or not have AI. It's whether we want China leading the way in AI or America and its allies, whatever. He says if this technology is inevitably coming down the pike, it should emerge and be dominated by open democratic societies with the rule of law rather than crappy authoritarian regimes that are personalist. "We're thinking about a lot more than those kinds of countries," he says.
