The BMW's Bizarre Problem
The top of a shocker sort of unscrewed itself. The anti-roll bar somehow fell down, jammed the throttle and JJ Leto crashed in the Porsche curves. Tierri was quite badly hurt. He ended up in hospital, big back operation. That looked as though it left the BMW the way clear to win. But Toyota would have won.
