Parenting Adolescents - What's the Most Surprising Part of Parenting?

I really like being with my kids which is something that has become just more true over time and so my I think my favorite I would say islike one-on-one time. When we can find you know moments like occasionally I'll pick my son up from school and like we'll walk to get a snack it's always nice. What do your kids say they want to be when they grow up? My daughter would like to be a therapist which seems extremely realistic she's already an excellent therapist, and my son would like to  be a famous professional singer but he has some backups like famous chef Acrobat.
