Viruses Are Too Small
Viruses were technically discovered in 18 92 by dmitri ivanovsky. He used a filter that would filter out anything bacteria size or larger to remove the sap from diseased tobacco plants. But it was the filtered sap with still able to transfer a disease. And he, so he figured there has to be some substance left behind that's even weigh smaller than a bacteria. And he called that substance a virus. So now we get to evans point. We have to talk about the definition of life. Most definitions of life require some kind of metabolism. Viruses don't memetabolize anything. In fact, viruses don't have cells, and they can't reproduce independently
