The person can type on the computer by just straight from brain activity. And that allows them to end up controlling environmental things like water supplied to a tube so they can drink the temperature in the room, whether there's a fan on or not. I mean, all the kind of things you'd normally be able to control with kind of like a mouse, and you know, clicking or pointing,. You can end up doing with brain-computer interface on a computer. But this isn't that impressive step up. Musk's group was intending to be implanting in ALS patients by now. FDA denied them permission because they were too sloppy.
