Is Pain All in Your Head?

The way that our brain works is that it takes in all the sensory input from our internal environments, from our external environments. If your brain perceives threat, your body is in motion before you can ever think. Thinking happens last when we've been taught think, feel, act and think. So pain does come from the brain, but it relies on what's happening in the environment. And I think if you can take that pause between the feeling, the acting and the thinking then you're saying, Adele, go internal. What is my body trying to say to me?
