The Romantic Ideal Is at an All Time High
I find this belief system that I was raised with that we are supposed to find everything that we want, everything that we need and crave in our lives, all has to exist within this one perfect person. Research will tell you that that's not the way it really works. You make sure that you have your needs diversified amongst a group of people. And that in itself improves the relationship. The more you put all these expectations into one person, the more likely that the relationship will crumble under all these expectations. What you do is a beautiful idea. You can do it by living together. You canDo it by having other friends.
