He talks about nonsense poetry in here. He says at one point I was listening to a Zulu war song and it sounded to be like a bear cues rather than something that might stimulate the MP. A lullaby and MP are Zulu warriors. So there is something about cultural conditioning behind your experience. That is very important. Someone has asked me to write an article for a book on C.S. Lewis and postmodernism. And essentially when he talks about, and this is the phrase he uses, how there are historically conditioned preferences. Our sense of what is great literature does change over time because historical context change.
