The Importance of Mud in Predators

A digression about the famous scene in the movie Predator where Arnold Schwarzenegger covers his body in mud. This is a direct reference to the German legend Das Lied der Niebelungen. Siegfried, the hero of this legend, killed a wildly feared dragon with his sword and noticed that his skin became invulnerable due to this plaster.
