How Much Can You Miss for Sunday Mass?
With the second Vatican Council, they wanted to people to be there for the liturgy of the Eucharist. They didn't want people scrupling about exactly how much you could miss and stuff like that. So when they rewrote the law, they did not really focus on the question of how much can you miss or what has been changed. You know, as long as you're making a good faith effort to be there.
