How Much Water Is in a Log?

A lot of what we make, as it's made out of unseasoned wood. We do a lot of the shaping first, and then let it shrink and crack up. So if you imagine either a very big branch off an even bigger tree,. this sort of curving up round and ut or or a tree that's grown on ta hillside  and curved up towards the sun. Because if we then cut a shae out of that curved log, the grain is going round the curve rather than across it. so can kind of exploit that. And ten, the drying out process is to get rid of the sap that naturally occurs in logs.
