The Value Gap and the Lies
The value gap is this view that some people because of the color of their skin ought to be valued more than others. The idea that God is no respecter of persons and acts doesn't obtain in a world where certain bodies are valued, other bodies are devalued. And it's at the heart of the achievement gap. It's at theheart of the wealth gap. There's something about the way in which certain human beings are viewed and other human beings are not.
