The Old Testament and God's Prophecy
The books of the apocrypha are history books. They came out of that same prophetic period, that same time when god was busy. That's why god was able to speak to you yesterday through the books of the old testament. But if i was teaching you the book of the macabes, that would not happen. You can read it if you're interested, but it will not speak to you from god,. because it's not prophetic and prophetic history speaks to us to day.
