How Do X Rays Work?
x rays are waves which are much closer together. Unlike light that we can see, they thread their way between all the particles that make up your body and come out the other side. Some parts of your body are more transparent in other words, they are more like window glass to x rays than others. This is because some chemicals get in the way of x rays and do stop them a bit. And so we sometimes use that to get a better idea as to the structure of something going on inside the body if we need to see it in three dimensions.
