Windows Management on the Macintosh

i fundamentally dislike the full screen mode. I just want to take a window and make it the biggest possible size, starting from the top left corner of the screen,. until it fills the entire screen with the dock being on the right. That's what i want to have, one ap at a time, but not in full screen because i want to get the manu borwjus. But it doesn't do that dependet depending on the ap. It will like if you just double click the top of the window. No, for me, like if i double click sofary, it doesn't fill it until the very edge of the dock. You know, double click
