How Do You Know if Someone Is Paying Attention to You?

I think i've always had like an attention thing. I've wanted people to pay attention to me, which is not universal at all. Then i had the experience of getting to prime time show. The first four or five years of that was like really pretty psychologically difficult um and messed me up pretty bad,. But you can't care too much. You have to sort of figure out how you manage that, how you manage the psychological input.
