Is the Fed Going to Slow the Economy?
Gem says central bankers are just hamfisted here. They're just not addressing the problem correctly. He thinks we can slow inflation a bit via a recession, but all of that is ultimately side note to bigger picture. The second we slow, the Fed will ultimately have to call to pivot or slow rate of increases in interest rates as they achieve their goal of recession.
