Hair damage actually occurs at much lower temperatures and 400 degrees Fahrenheit or around 200 Celsius. You're getting pretty close to the denaturation temperature of hair, where you actually can melt your hair. And at the end of the day, the reason you're putting a cleaner on is to sterilize and disinfect. So would you even want that anyway?
