The Social Cost of Change

When I was a pastor, I would often meet with people who they were deeply afraid to communicate these questions about the Bible. Really any faith questions because of the social cost. This is going to cost me a best friend at least, if not a marriage,. It's going to cost my small group, it'sGoing to cost me my community. And when they mishandle you like they did in your case, it really affects and we actually perceive God through each other.
