Rick McGahey: Why is it that each time we have this conversation, everyone gets pushed to their partisan corner? He says Democrats don't understand the bicameral nature of the House and Senate. I think in the end, you will get a compromise, he says; it probably won't be what everybody wants. McGahey: You might have more faith in Congress than me, but they're every day.
