The Perverse Effect of the for Profit Model on Humanitarian Issues

i took class with the professor who wrote this. But basically, the fact that there are more and more engios actually leads to more competition instead of co operation amongst themselves. And that is inherently destructive for their mission. Another perverse effect that this for profit model has is that a lot of organizations will rush to humanitarian hot spots - they're called "hotspots"
