If you just ask them for advice, what you're going to get is kind of filtered through their perception. You'll come up with more detail often and maybe detail that you wouldn't have gotten just asking for advice. Another question that can be really valuable is to ask, if you were me, how would you think about this process or how would you thinking about getting to this goal?
