In September when Biden said the pandemic was over on CBS, I wrote this. Given how many people have had COVID-19, the effectiveness of one way masking, and the numerous vaccines on the market, I think it is rational for us to start thinking about ourselves as post-pandemic. If anything, after living through a winter where we didn't see a major spike in cases or deaths, I think we can be more confident about the new phase that we are entering. This isn't a band aid you rip off. Whether I like it or not, government entities, healthcare providers, and ordinary Americans need time to prepare for the changes coming to their care. But
