Is the Universe Deterministic?

In traditional quantum mechanics, we are told that the universe is fundamentally random. But bomian mechanic says things are actually determined by the initial conditions. If you do the same experiment multiple times with exactly the same initial conditions, you should get the same output. And so this plays out into having a distribution of the outcomes at the end of the experiment.
